Azure table storage with Hadoop

Question

Hello All,

Looking at Hadoop On Azure CTP, we have option to setup Azure blob storage account with hadoop.  By doing this we can access files uploaded on Azure blob store to run Hive queries.

So is there any way to use Azure table storage also with hadoopOnAzure?

Hi Dheeraj,

Still connectivity of Azure table storage with HDFS is not in place. I had a conversation with Denny Lee on this. A DCR has been raised for the same. The issue is Azure table storage is of nosql format and HDFS is having a structured format. The connectivity can be done by REST protocol, but again the response can be hard to parse.
