Create PPT programmatically from OpenXML and download RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

How to create a ppt programmatically using OpenXML ( C# ) and download the created ppt?

I am using Visual studio 2012.

If the data is in a string builder, can that be moved to the presentation.

I only have 1 slide of data. How to move the stringbuilder data to presentation.? The stringbuilder has the below data:

             title

    left box1 right box1
    Hi test

    left box2 right box2
    well done

    How to achieve this?

    Thanks

  • Hi Venkatzeus,

I am not sure what you mean with “download the created ppt”, where did you store the created PPT?

For how to create a ppt with OpenXML, you could refer the link below:
    # How to: Create a presentation document by providing a file name (Open XML SDK)

    >> How to move the stringbuilder data to presentation.?

Did you mean you want to create a new slide with data? If so, you could refer the link below:

In my option, we could write data to presentation. In my second link in above reply, it shared how to specify the text of slide shape. Could you share us how you tried to write data to presentation and which issue you had?

Have your issue about creating a ppt with Openxml been resolved? If you have, I suggest you mark the helpful reply as answer to close this thread and post a new thread for writing data to presentation with details information about what you have tried.

    Best Regards,

    Edward
