  • This is a simple file.

You can tun off Excel and copy to your Flash or send it via email.

You can find him in W7:

    c:\Users\Name_of_your_profile\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART\

Excel macros are usually contained in a  Module file. In your situation, the file is Modul1.bas That is what you need to email to your friend.

  • I suggest ask your user to make a new Personal.xls/b. This will ensure the right file type is created and in the correct folder

Open your VBE, find your Personal file, expand the modules, copy the macro(s) as text.
Send your user the macro as plain text, in an email or as a text file.

    Tel your user to

    - Start to Record a macro but when the prompt appears be sure to click "Personal Macro Workbook". A new Personal will be created in the correct folder.

    - Open the VBE with alt-F11, find the Personal file, expand the modules. The macro just recorded will be in Module1.
    - Delete the recorded macro, probably named Macro1.
    - Paste the text of your macro(s) into Module1
    - Collapse the tree and close all windows in the VBE
    - Close Excel
    - A prompt will appear asking if you want to save the Personal.xls/b, click yes.
