Licensing Info from SQL Server RRS feed

  • Question

  • Any thing from SQL Server engine side where we can query it and find out which licensing is used Processor based or CAL based?

Checked serverproperty but all license option giving me null values.

Do we need to put our licensing info manually or is there any other ways of doing that?

  • Hello,

    Try this

    SELECT @@VERSION

SELECT SERVERPROPERTY('productversion'), SERVERPROPERTY ('productlevel'), SERVERPROPERTY ('edition')

  • Used all these commands based on server property but not able to get licensing info being implemented on SQL instance.
