How to ignore errors in SqlPackage RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm trying to extract a data tier application (dacpac) from a database, but this doesn't work because some stored procedures have references to objects in different databases.

Is there some way to extract dacpac ignoring this error ?

I know it's possible to use sqlpackage in prompt, but wich parameters would achieve this result  and how to use sqlpackage in prompt ? I searched the computer and couldn't find sqlpackage in this, is it installed by default ?

    Thank you !

  • Hello,

Yes. You can try to extract a dacpac file by using SqlPackage.exe. It is not validate by default. For example,
    /p:VerifyExtraction= false.
Please refer to the following command line:
    SqlPackage.exe /a:Extract /ssn:<your server name> /sdn:<your db name> /tf:<file for new dacpac>
