Can't pass WFP test: DisableWindowsFirewallProperly failed RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, Dears!

WFP test for DisableWindowsFirewallProperly failed for me.

My driver is not firewall driver, but just monitoring one.

I tried all four combinations of

[Layered on Microsoft Windows Firewall:                 TRUE/FALSE]

    and

    [Properly disabled Windows Firewall:                    TRUE/FALSE]

    without success.

All other tests in WFP_tests passed without problem, BTW.

    TIA, Arkady Frenkel

Here resulting NTlog for this test in advance.

  • Arkady, did you manage to fix the issue? I'm having a very similar problem but on Windows 8.1.

  • If you are not a firewall, then specify IsAFirewall = 0 and make sure you aren't shutting off Windows Firewall or stopping MPSSvc.

    Hope this helps,
