Coded UI support in SL 4 for Custom controls with custom properties. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Experts,

I heard that Silverlight is not supported for Coded UI Testing but the Silverlight extension helper will achieve this..

Its works fine for me... my question is how to add the custom properties as asserts...

    any workaround for this.

  • Hi sankar,

Seems like you could create a new class which derived from the current control, in this class you could add the property which you want and use this type control in your application and use coded UI test builder utility to see if this property could be recognize by it.

  • Hi Kuacci,

It will not recognize the like the properties which you mentioned above. There is some other way to achieve this and am looking that way.

    Thanks for the reply.
