How to configure Azure function in Visual studio 2015. RRS feed

  • Hi,

    Am new to Microsoft Azure technology, I want to created and publish the Azure Functions using Visual Studio 2015 Professional edition, Please let me know it could be possible, if yes please advice me how to install/configure and how to create this.

    The support for developing and publishing Azure Functions only exists in Visual Studio 2017 and not 2015.

  • To add a bit more to David's reply, you cannot use VS2015 to create Azure Functions and prior to Visual Studio 2017 V15.3 you needed to download a separate add-on to use function.  V15.3 now includes the functionality built-in to Visual Studio as well as other features (like being able to use .Net Core 2.0)
