Bing Maps API RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've had an app published to the Windows Store using the Bing Maps API and its been working well up until recently. I was using a Bing Maps API test key which ran out and the it stopped working. It uses the API to turn a post code into co-ordinates.

To fix the issue I got a Basic Windows Store Bing API key, updated my app and re-uploaded to the store. But it now fails certification each time I upload. The testers have given be a screenshot of the error and I think its the Bing Maps API not working - however it works fine when debugging on my PC or remote debug to a Surface machine.

Could it be that the testers are located in a different country so the API doesn't work and so fails certification?

    Can anyone help?
