Help hosting ASP.NET site on IIS RRS feed

  • Hi there, I am new to a lot of this and I have created a website using asp.net, and when I try to host it using IIS, I get this error

    In the config source, it just says 

    -1: 0:

    which doesnt really give me any indication of where the error is

    the account under which run the w3wp.exe (IIS) must have permission to web.config.

  • \\?\C:\Users\breon\Documents\www\avitools\web.config

    You need to make a folder off of the <C> call it Projects and create you Visual Stuido projects in that folder.

    By doing that, it should not have any permission issues when you deploy solution to local IIS.
