  • Question

  • I have been waiting over 5 years for the aerial view of my house to show up on Bing Maps.

Obviously it has been on Google Maps for a long time and Google Maps was just updated again showing data from this year. This is a rapidly growing area with new homes being built all around. It is a shame I have to tell people they have to go to Google to not only get a street side view, but to even get an aerial view of the houses.

Is there a place I can go to check the status of when maps for specific areas will be updated?

    Thank you.

  • The Bing Maps aerial imagery is usually updated every 3 to 5 years depending on if the area is a urban or rural area. The imagery in your area will likely be updated within the next year.
