  • Question

  • We use Sharepoint 2007 to maintain our daycare's  website.  Every week, we change the teachers' lesson plans and the menu.  We are unable to change the menu.  In Sharepoint it shows up as the correct week's menu, but when you look at it on the website it is the menu from the first of February.  I deleted the link in sharepoint and re-entered it and it is still not changing.  The menus and lesson plans are all put in as pdf files.

Not sure exactly what the issue is from your original post. Can you provide more details on how things were setup (i.e. lesson plans, menus, calendar, etc.). What do you mean by it shows correct week's menu in sharepoint but not on the website? If possible, can you post the link to the site here so that we can take a look or screenshots of the issue?

  • Our website is npcdc.com.  When I looked at the website online today, it is now saying page not found when you click on the link for the menu.

Which link are you referring to that says page not found? Are you sure that's a SharePoint based website? I don't think it is. Can you confirm?

We use Sharepoint 2007 to maintain our daycare's  website.

Did you mean you use "SharePoint Designer 2007" program to maintain/update the site?

  • Yes, we use Sharepoint 2007 to maintain and update the site.  We are hosted through Go Daddy.  It is the menu page that when you click on the link it says 404 error page not found.

  • I browsed through that site several times and I highly doubt that's a SharePoint based website. It looks like static site to me. There's a huge difference between SharePoint based site and using "SharePoint Designer 2007" for updating basic html pages. The latter is just an editor/program for... as I said.. updating html pages. I don't know your site structure. Since you're getting page not found error, obviously your link is not pointing to the correct page or the corresponding page got deleted or moved. So, you'll need to look into that.

    Hope that helps..
