with my old image the board was working fine.

    USBD:LoadDeviceDrivers - Device VendorId: 1133, ProductId: 49213, Release: 8192
USBD:LoadDeviceDrivers loading driver for interface 0
    *LoadDroupDriver*: \Drivers\USB\LoadClients\Default\Default\3

    +LoadRegisteredDriver
    RegOpenKeyEx success

  • Did you include the standard shell? Can you build a debug kernel and download with KITL? That way you could see what is causing it not to boot through to the explorer shell.

    Good luck,

  • Hi Michel,

standard shell is included in the build.

I did a clean sysgen of the bsp. Then its not showing the display in device.

But if I did one make run time image I am getting the display.

is there any relation with mcupdk.dll?

    thanks

  • Why "mcupdk"? Do you see anything that would indicate that? (if yes; show us).

Did you manage to run a KITL debug build? Any more output?

  • Hi Michel,

while "rebuild current bsp and subprjects" building I got one error as mfc90u.dll and msvcr90.dll not in disk.

So I commented that in platform.bib file.

I doubt that is because of that I am hitting this issue?

Can you give one brief idea 0r any link regarding how .dll file is creating. What are the causes for its not building correctly?.

I know its very old question But again I need to ask you.

which situation I need to use sysgen , build current bsp and sub projects.

If I did KITL debug print where I can see the debug messages(in hyper terminal or pb)

I am new to this that's why I am asking these questions.

    thanks.

  • I think the dll's what you have commented in the platform.bib is creating the issue ... See how those dll's will be generated.

For specific dll is missing you post it here or you can also search it under WINCEROOT and sources file who is generating and what sysgen variable needs to be selected... Dont unknowingly comment/remove anything debugging will become a heck.

Sysgen build is required when you have selected a new catalog variable or deselected it ... because you need to build the MS component/module. Build current BSP is required when you have modified file(s) under your BSP folder and build subproject is required when you have a subproject and you have modified only it .... this is the basic

Of course if you google you will get all the info related to build and you should read it.

When you enable KITL and KDB and download the image using PB you will see the debug messages on the PB.
