  • Question

  •  The type or namespace name 'Reporting' does not exist in the namespace 'Microsoft' (are you missing an assembly reference?)

    and also this warning.

Warning    2    The currently targeted framework ".NETFramework,Version=v4.0,Profile=Client" does not include "System.Web, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a" which the referenced assembly "CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine, Version=13.0.2000.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304, processorArchitecture=MSIL" depends on. This caused the referenced assembly to not resolve. To fix this, either (1) change the targeted framework for this project, or (2) remove the referenced assembly from the project.

Any body Please help what is error and how to slove this,I Install the crystall report.

  • This looks like you have only the .NET Framework 4.0 Client Profile installed on your system when you need the full .NET Framework 4.0.

Or, your Visual Studio project is targeting .NET 4.0 Client Profile when it should be targeting .NET 4.0 (full).

First step, try to retarget your project. If you cannot, you need to make sure .NET 4.0 is properly installed on your system. To do that, use this tool:

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/10/13/8999004.aspx

Run the tool with the highest available .NET version selected, then post the first 12 lines AND the last 12 lines of the tool log here.
