Interface Not Supported raised when using an COM based on C# RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I´m developed an component COM (.DLL) based on C# language and I have some Delphi based applications that must acess this component. So, I have executed the regasm in order to register my component (like this: regasm Agent.dll /codebase).

The fact is that my Delphi applications are acessing perfectly this component in a Early Binding call only when I execute the applications in a local drive (like this C:\AppDirectory\MyDelphiApp.exe). If I try to execute my application in a mapped directory (like this X:\MyDelphiApp.exe), when my component is acessed It raises a "INTERFACE NOT SUPPORTED" exception.

My X:\ drive is a mapped drive to \\TheLocalMachine\c$\AppDirectory

PS: Some may think it´s an useless pratice (to map a local drive) but believe, it´s not....

Does anybody know why I´m getting this error ?
