Apparently, the File version (not the Assembly version) for many of the Rx 2.2.2 assemblies was 2.2.31206.0. For the newest version of, say, the Interfaces library, the File version is 220.127.116.11428. This is numerically lower, since 31206 is (slightly) larger
than 4. This breaks upgrading MSI packages, since Windows Installer looks at the file version and concludes "Existing file is a lower version".
Are there plans to issue a new set of packages with a fixed file version - or any workarounds to force overwriting these DLLs?
