Determine pose from skeleton RRS feed

  • Hey guys,

    I'm currently struggling with converting the skeleton parameters (joint positions and rotations) of the kinect v2 to pose parameters (local joint/bone orientations, see SMPL). My current approach involved calculating the bone direction vectors of each bone and calculating the differential rotation to a calibration pose, but this does not work well, as this would work only in 2d space. Has anyone done this before and can refer me to a library and/or algorithm?
