  • i want to use visual studio 2005 and i will write C\C++ codes in my project.i will use many library like opengl,boost,ipp,opencv...My development computer is windows xp professional sp3 and target computer is windows embedded standard 2009.What do i have to do  to run the applications which i will write??Which services or components do i have to add my embedded operating system?? i need your suggestions and advices...

  • Use "Depency Walker" to find out on which DLLs etc. your binaries (e.g. executable) depend. Doing that in your WES2009 runtime will show you which of them are missing in the runtime.

    Once you got that, use Target Designer and find the components that contain this DLL and add them to your configuration.

    Note: DLLs required for your application may not be part of the Windows Operating system (e.g. runtime libraries from your IDE), in this case you have to add them manually to your runtime by (copy and register via regsvr32).
