Hello Tamer.Ahmed,
I followed the "Using WiFi Direct on your Windows 10 IoT Core device" tutorial and test with the Raspberry Pi 3B with my Windows 10 desktop(not two raspberry pis). I insert my own WiFi adapter on my desktop to enable WiFi and use on board WiFi on Raspberry Pi.
The Raspberry Pi as the advertiser and desktop as connector. It works for me with Windows IoT Core version 10.0.17134.228. But Raspberry Pi as connector doesn't work for me. The following is snapshot of my desktop as connector:
But unfortunately, I didn't get the Windows IoT Core version 17763 working.
Best regards,
Rita

Hi, There's an update i got it from the issue i opened in github regarding this in the sample page, which is the latest build has no problem but the problem in the sample itself. the solution is to add "Internet Server & Client" capabilities in appmanifest of the sample.
Thank you

Hi Rita,
Thank you for confirming my problem.
Thank you again for confirming that WiFi direct is supported and working with built-in wifi.
Yyou did what i did exactly but with 17763.
PC version : 17134
Pi IoT Core : 17763
So how i can acquire 17134 for IoT Core to get it work for now?
and how we report this problem so we can know the root cause ?
Thank you
Thank you

Hello Tamer.Ahmed,
>>>So how i can acquire 17134 for IoT Core to get it work for now?
If you use previous version than 1.0.1810.3002 of Windows 10 IoT Core Dashboad, you may can flash the 17134 from there. Otherwise you will get the latest version 17763 either from dashboard or website download page. I share 17134 image here for you to test.
>>>and how we report this problem so we can know the root cause ?
You can submit a feedback via feedback hub.(dashboard->settings->send feedback)
Best regards,
Rita

Hello Tamer.Ahmed,
I download from my shared link and install successfully. The uploaded file seems non-corrupted. The following is my steps:
- Once the ISO has downloaded, double-click it to mount it as a virtual disk.
- Double click the Windows Installer Package (.MSI), when it complete, flash.ffu file will list in path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft IoT\FFU\RaspberryPi2.
- Start the Windows IoT Core Dashboard.
- Plug your micro SD card into your technician PC, and select it in the tool.
- From Setup a new device, select Device Type: Custom.
- From Flash the pre-downloaded file (Flash.ffu) to the SD card, click Browse, browse to your FFU file (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft IoT\FFU\RaspberryPi2\Flash.ffu), then click Next.
- Optional: Change the default device name (Default is minwinpc.)
- Enter your device password.
- Accept the license terms, and then click Install. The Windows IoT Core Dashboard formats the micro SD card and installs the new image.
- Insert the microSD card with the Windows 10 IoT Core image on it into your Raspberry Pi, power on your Raspberry Pi, it will boot to Windows IoT Core.
Which step says that the cabinet file is corrupted in your installation?
Best regards,
Rita

Hi Rita,
First Thank you for your help in sharing the image file.
i installed the 17134 as you said and it as you said , and it's working and that approves 2 things :
1) WiFi-Direct supported in built-in WiFi in Pi3
2) the latest build have a problem with WiFi-Direct.
i reported the problem in feedback hub but no one check it yet :).
Thank you.
Thank you
