Granting permission to publish a workflow in browser RRS feed

  • Question

  • I was having trouble to publish a workflow. After searching on the Internet, I found it was related to some permission issues.

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint-designer-help/troubleshoot-workflow-errors-HA010237912.aspx#BM18

This is the solution it provided:

    1. In Office SharePoint Designer 2007, in the Folder List, right-click the Workflows library, and then click Properties.
    2. Click the Security tab.
    3. Click Manage permissions using the browser.
    4. In the browser, on the Permissions: Workflows page, click New, and then click Add Users.
    5. Add the user to the list.

Now the question is, is there any ways I can find this workflows permissions page without using the SharePoint Designer?

  • It's highly unlikely.  Workflows made in Designer are only subsquently editible from within the same product and not the browser.
