third party hooks/api

Will there be third party hooks/API so 3rd party programs can replace the default programs for "anti-virus" and backup/Refresh"?

Hi David,

AV vendors will be able to do all they did before and there are some additional features they can add to interface with secure boot feature. As a user you can choose your AV favorite program.

There aren't hookable interfaces for backup or refresh.  You can of course use your favorite backup program as before.
