'RouteServiceHelper' module error 404 - location not found RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    Calculating driving route using 'RouteServiceHelper' module. See the following code.

    But not getting response for location '25 E County Road 300 S New Castle IN 47362'. Refer screenshot-1. But BingMap site is showing miles and distance for this location.

    var RouteArr= ["8351 Rockville Rd Indianapolis IN 46234",
                   "25 E County Road 300 S New Castle IN 47362",
                   "1029 E 5th St Connersville IN 47331"];

    RouteServiceHelper.GetRoute(RouteArr, "BING_MAPS_KEY", options, RouteCallback);

    screenshot-1

    Somebody could help me please ?

  • That module wraps the Bing Maps REST services. If you try passing those locations to the services the route will fail to generate. Using the directions module the route does work. Note that the route service helper module was created before we had an easy way to calculate routes in JavaScript with Bing Maps. You will likely find it better to use the directions module which is an official Bing Maps module:

  • I'm able to reproduce this. I'm sending this to our development team for investigation.
