Is there an easier way of restoring to the latest backup file via script? RRS feed

  • Hello,

The easy solution is to not append backups. Personally I'm not a fan of appending backups as a corruption of that file pretty much makes all others useless. It also causes the file to grow and grow, rather than be part of normal growth control processes.

AFAIK there is not an easier way to get the file number.
