SQL Server Backup issues RRS feed

  • I'm not sure where to put this in the Forum catagories, please move to the correct place if there is one.

    We are using Windows Server Backup & it keeps failing on backing up our SQL Server.

    If I stop the SQL services & run a backup it succeeds, but if SQL Server is running it fails.

    We are running SQL 13.0.5850.14

    When it happens the VSS service goes into an error state & I restart it which clears the erors out of VSSADMIN LIST WRITERS, but every backup it just errors.

    When it runs we get the following event messages:
