Problem on generating entities with S at the end RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We are working on a team with SQL server 2008 R2 and the dbml file is not generated the same way in our desktops (VS 2010) :( for some develloper every things is ok and the  project compile, for other developers if i take the exemple of a table called Users some entitizq are generated with S  at the end, other without S wich causes compilation problem :( an SQL instance is installed on every desktop in local with restore of the main base so we are sure the have the same DB.

the code is taken from TFS and is not compiling!! :( because of the  S PROBLEM at the end of entities wich work on some desktop and other not :(

    Many thanks for help :)

  • Hi Kitano,

It is a strange problem, as you described, the extention "dbml" is LINQ to SQL, I'm not sure your problem may cause by use LINQ to Entity, there are different thing.

    Have a nice day.
