Including Interop dlls in application RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've been creating apps used for internal business use for quite awhile.  You know these kind of applications.  They get created quick and dirty and get the job done.  Now I've created some apps that I want to share.  When I create an application and add reference to someone else's dlls, it copies them to my project and packages them up in the msi.  This works, but this makes the msi file quite large.

Question 1.  Is this the correct way of share applications?
Question 2.  How can I make the msi smaller?
Question 3.  What if I wanted to sell my application that used the microsoft.office.dll?  Do I have to pay for licensing to Microsoft?
