Accessing the windows server vdi remotley RRS feed

  • Question

    I have a rdcb;rdvh;rdgs.Servers

My set up is domain based i have a dc1

Now i have a desktop collection windows 8.1 with office 2010.

I am using the public or shared computer session

Within the lan , i am able to connect to the desktops in the collection  perfectly from any user in my AD

i Want to test the same desktop from the internet.

I have connected a router to my lab and given it a public IP

Now from the internet, i am able to get to the RDWEB server.

I get the prompt, i put in the username and password.

I am able to get to get to  the Work Resources Page.

I can see the collections PC and i even get bthe prompt at the bottom of the page saying that " i am connected to remote app and desktop connections"

When i click on the remote PC i get the  promt; i put in the DC/username and DC/ password

then i get the error message

"your computer cannot connect to the Remote computer because the remote desktop gateway server address is unreachable or incorrect.

Type a valid remote desktop gateway server address.

For me to get this far, i created a personally signed cert in the Remote Gateway Server and imported it manually to the computer that is trying to remotely connect bo the VDI lab.

i have switched off all the firewalls in the following machines.

    i still get this  error.

    Please assist?
