MS-WUSP ReportEventBatch: What is EventID 181? RRS feed

  • Question

  • When implementing the serverside of ReportEventBatch, i noticed update specific events send by windows with an EventID of 181. However this EventID is missing from the documentation, as it seems. Someone knows what it means?

    Windows 7 Enterprise X64
    Version 6.1 (Build 7601: Service Pack 1)

  • Hi Memnarch1:

This EventId is used to signal the start of the installation.

I have filed a bug against MS-WUSP to include this EventId.

Please let me know if it does not answer your question.

    Regards, Obaid Farooqi
