  • Hi Subhash,

It is not possible to backup & restore the entire Storage account. However, you may copy the blobs, tables from one storage account to another storage account as backup and restore them back whenever required.

You can use Azcopy to copy data. Also, you can set up Asynchronous Cross-Account Copy Blob so you can backup your blobs to another storage account without having to retrieve the content and saving it yourself.

  • Hi Manu,

Thank You for the information. However, we are looking for any solution in Azure Management Portal to Backup the Azure Tables into another Storage Account Daily to avoid program / user errors on Azure tables.

Please let me know if we can use Azure Scheduler to this purpose or is there any way to Automate this process. please give detailed process to get this requirement met.

    Thanks.

  • Hi Subhash,

As of now, it is not possible to use Azure Scheduler with Azure table Storage.  Azure Scheduler is available only for Storage queue in posting the job at regular interval. Also, there is no solution for backup of table storage in Azure management portal.

However, you may use AZCopy to copy the table storage to another storage account manually or can create a powershell script for that operation and add it as task in Windows Task Scheduler to run everyday.

You may also post your requirement as a feedback over below link:
