App Update Approved, but not updating on devices, old version being served RRS feed

  • I submitted an update to our app for Windows Phone 7.1 and 8, and it was approved extremely quickly, like within 8 hours which is quite unusual.  But it seems that something is not right with the update.  When browsing the Marketplace using a WinPhone device, it shows the correct (new) version of the app, but if you tap Install you get served the old version.  Also, existing users are not being served an automatic update.  Could it be that the .xap file that I uploaded was not the latest version?  if that is the case, then I would think that devices would automatically update but they are not doing so.

    Perhaps I should just push another update and hope this one works better?
