  • Question

  • My system is GA-970-UD3, AMD8350, with USB 3.0 controller on board. And I always get (Kinect Configuration Verifier):

A:USB controller: Result: No supported USB 3.0 port detected

B:Verify kinect depth and color streams: detects depth and color stream latency, Result: No depth frames recived from kinect

    Also I did:

    1. updated Windows(10 Pro) updated to 1809, 17763.292.
    2. Use motherboard USB 3.0 controller
    3. Use controller ORICO PRU3-4P (Install and plug in via ORICO PRU3-4P 4 Port USB 3.0 PCIe Connected PCI-E x16 (instead video), use drivers – Windows.
    4. Update drivers WDFKinectSensor 0, Install    2.2.1811.10000
was installed GTS 660 wth DirectX 11 support
5.Use regedit        controller USB 3.0 on motherboard reg add HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Processor /v Capabilities /t REG_DWORD /d 0x7e060  then reboot the computer.

    6. set volume of kinect sound array to zero.

    Any advice, please?

  • When I start application, which use Kinect (like Kinect Studio), something happens, record video that process, but cant attach it here.. Look like constatntly reconnect device and again and again. Then controller was stopped (Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)) and need to reboot to enable it.

by the way, i try also:

    8. disable energy safe mode for PCI-e. But symptoms are the same.

  • After all had read, the controller must be gen2 (USB3.1), will try it tomorrow.

  • Have attached controller Orient AM-31U2PE-AC (USB 3.1, PCI-E 4x,Gen2) and i watch: "Current device power state cannot support this request." - in device manager for kinect. Its ASMedia driver. With Microsoft it was "that device may support", but nothing more. The same messages in Kinect Configuration Verifier.
