I'm running mssql on Linux. How to check sql server accessibility before trying connect to localhost using Azure Data Studio? This studio has infinite waiting with localhost, sa, sql login credentials.

Do you get any detailed error message when you connect to localhost from Azure Data Studio? If possible, you can try to create a issue to report it.
