csproj.user file under source control RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi.
I have DSS project which I keep in source control (svn for the matter).
When DSS project is created a <Project>.csproj.user file is created with settings of how to strat dsshost for the project result dll - but this file, sence it's per user file, is not stored in the source control.
The result is that when I check out the project in clean machine I have to reenter the settings for each dss project.

How do you deal with it and how do you suggest me to deal with it?

    Thank you,
    Ido.

  • At SimplySim, we use an environment variable that points to our msrds root folder and that is used in .csproj and .csproj.user. So we can share these files
