I have a webpage and as part of the process we need to track user usage. We don't have any form of log in etc, but would like to track usage to a user. This can be annoynmous. For example if it's a normal browser we just track how often an IP uses the site. This lets us get an idea of how often "a user" more so an IP address uses the site in a given day. And what sections / parts of the site they use.

With mobile phones whats the options? I'm guessing IP would still work? or is it possible to capture phone number, via javascript / html(5) etc.

Well it seems most phones pass the mobile number (phone number) via the MSISDN header. Just a matter of parsing it out. Well back to google. Any help doing that would be appreciated though.
