Word 2010 Tables with content control in columns RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a form that I'm creating.  This form has a table with one of the columns having a drop down box in it.  I would like to be able to have the drop down box copied to a new row every time a row is inserted.  I'm very new to this so any guidance would be helpful.

    Thanks

  • You need to provide more information. You say you're creating a form: Are you using any kind of protection, or does the form consists simply of content controls?

Which programming language are you using?

Are you creating this form as a template? If you are, the simplest thing would be to save the table row with the dropdown as a Building Block in the template and insert the Building Block as required.
