  • Can you provide more detail on what exactly you are looking for? The samples are to demonstrate the functionality of the Kinect SDK api's. Skeletal tracking is a function of runtime/SDK that you can leverage in your own applications. Is there a particular problem you are encountering or look for a particular functionality?

  • I want to know what algorithm is used by the skeletal tracking API. Whether it is the same as the one in the research paper or is it some other algorithm? I need gesture recognition based on that algorithm for a project so if it is already implemented in the skeletal tracking API, i'll be able to use it directly.

  • there currently is no "built in" gesture recognition algorithms from the ST pipeline. You can get hand positions, but you have to build your own. This is something we are working on for a future release.
