Automate Export to Excel

Question

Hello,

Is there a way to Automate a list to "export to excel" and email it to users once a week via the workflow tool? I have been searching around but can't seem to find a solution and am desperate. We have a Risk and Issue log that we would like to send weekly to the team and not force them to have to come to the site if they are out in the field.<o:p></o:p>

Thank you in advance for any assistance ro ideas.

Hi Julie,

Workflow cannot export the list to excel, you can write PowerShell code to export the list to Excel file and then send email to the mail adress, and use the Windows Task Scheduler to trigger the above PowerShell code weekly, please see more from posts below.

Another approach is to develop a custom timer job to export the list to excel and send mail weekly.
