  • Hi do you have any suggestions about that, because I trying to modify some data using OData, I found this code, but for me is show me an error.

    context.BeginSaveChanges(new AsyncCallback(r =>
                {
                    try
                    {
                        var dsr = context.EndSaveChanges(r);
                        if (dsr.Any(op => op.Error != null))
                        {
                            //Show error message
                        }
                        else
                        {
                            //Succeeded
                        }
                        _finish = true;
                    }
                    catch (Exception ex)
                    {
                        _finish = true;
                        Console.WriteLine("Error Result: " + ex.InnerException.ToString());
                    }
                }), null);

                do
                {
                    System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(1000);
                } while (!_finish);

    Regards.

  • Hi Carlos,

    The important thing here would be... "what the error says"!

    But anyway I think that insert data via OData in Project Server is not posible, due to the Queue processes.

    You have two endpoints to access OData in Project Server: /_api/ProjectData/ and /_api/ProjectServer/. The first one refers to the Reporting DB, and it´s not intendeed to insert-update data. The second one referes to the Published DB and it´s allowed to insert-update DB. I didn´t tried it, and you will not find any guide by Microsoft recommendend it.

    To insert-update information they recommend to use CSOM.

    If you want to try, please post the entire result!

    Regards!
