Update Counts on MSDN Community Content RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi.  I tried to ask this question to my (now Ex) MSDN contacts but both have moved on. Clayton suggested I post here.

I am a contributor to the MSDN and TechNet community content. Over the past month or so, the post counts for every one of the top ten MSDN community content contributors has gone down dramatically. In my case I've lost "credit" for several thousand contributions.

    Two questions:

    1. What happend and is it going to be fixed.
    2. Who's in charge of the wiki now that all my contacts have left. Email would be appreciated.

  • Thomas,
I am checking on this. Were there any changes to your profile?

  • Not that I know of.

But the entire post count for all of the top 10 changed pretty dramatically. I lost at least 2500 (or nearly 1/3) of my posts, and others seem to lose similar amounts.

    :-(

    Thanks for looking into this.

I've still not found out what happend - and now it's happened again - I've just lost ANOTHER 500 posts.

Last week and this week, the top 10 msdn posters were as follows:

    Thomas Lee - 5371 - now 4816
    Dmex - 1428 - now 1422
    David Keen - 1068 - now 1067
    Jeff Fisher - 617 - now 436
    Ray Petry -  510 - 509
    Reza Aliezaei - 469 - still 469
    Stanley Roark - 416 - now 411
    Donny - 414 - still 414
    Mahiways - 406 - now 372
    Noelle Mallory - 405 - now 403

What IS going on?  If you can't keep count properly, why not just stop counting?

    I am somewhat unimpressed.
