Configure WNS settings in Azure Notification hub RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm not able to create app in Windows Dev Center. I have created an application in azure portal but I didn't found Package SID and the Security key for notification hub WNS settings. When I enter an app ID and a secret key in WNS settings, I found the below error:
    {"error":{"message":"SubCode=40000. Failed to validate credentials with WNS. The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request...TrackingId:a2382eb0-ebbe-469c-91f6-094080a2853c_M8CH3_M8CH3_G0,TimeStamp:4/16/2020 7:11:23 AM","code":"BadRequest"}}

  • There is a slight difference in package SID between App identity -> Package SID and App management -> WNS/MPNS -> live services. Please ensure that you are including ms-app:// for your item.

    Please let us know if this helps to resolve the matter.

  • Thanks Bryan Trach, but can you please elaborate it?
