Swift parse error RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are using Biztalk 2006 with swift 2.3. We have a solution with swift messages MT541 and MT940

    And everything works just fine

Now we have to receive then MT535 an there for we have to update to swift 2008 (because the mt535 change format since 2.3)

But after we updated to swift 2008, following the installation guide , and rebuilding the solution with the new 2008 schemas, we get an parse error on all the message.

Error = 1 parse error 0 xml error 0 BRE error

Please help !!   we need to get this in production in one week !

  • We took a closer look at the message file, and discovered that the file ended with a ‘0A’ char!!

The ‘funny’ part is that in VS the message validates fine and that SWFIT 2.3 message pack 2006 processed this message fine, but with message pack 2008 it fails !?!

    Thank you.

  • Can you provide detailed repro steps and Configuration steps which you had perform while upgrading MessagePack from 2006 to 2008, As its very hard to reproduce the behavior which you have reported from given information.

  • 1)      We followed the http://download.microsoft.com/download/a/6/a/a6a9dfa0-e002-4a6a-9f6d-01b5c7b8e25a/messagepack2008install.doc , that comes with then “BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2008 Message Pack”, very carefully

    2)      Rebuilder and deployed the SWIFT solution with the new 2008 schemas

    3)      Deployed the Policy using the BRE deployment utility

    4)      Restarted the server

    5)      Fed the receive port  with a swift message (that  would process fine under 2006)

    6)      Then got the error :   1 parse error 0 xml error 0 BRE error

If we try to 'validate Instance' on the failing message in VS the message validates fine !

Thank you very much for you reply !
