How to detect Visual Studio 2017 Express installation

There is a vswhere tool which detects Visual Studio installations. Even the pre-2017 ones but it does not detect Visual Studio 2017 Express edition. How can I detect if this edition is installed then? There are no registry entries which could give such an information in a not-very-hacky way.

Please have a look at Tools for detecting and managing Visual Studio instances. You can also use VSSetup.PowerShell: PowerShell scripts that use the Setup Configuration API to identify installed instances of Visual Studio.
