Exporting items from another mailbox RRS feed

  • Hi all

    Using the ExportItems operation, can I export items from another mailbox without impersonation?

    If I authenticate myself (e.g., some.one@somewhere.com.au), autodiscover another mailbox (e.g. someone.else@somewhere.com.au), bind to a folder in this mailbox, find items in this folder, then try to export the found items, I receive the following error:

    MessageText: The SMTP address has no mailbox associated with it.

    ResponseCode: ErrorNonExistentMailbox

    MessageXml

    Value [Name = SmtpAddress]

    some.one@somewhere.com.au

    which leaves me a bit stuck. :(

  • That error generally means you don't have FullAccess to the Mailbox your trying to export from, if you grant the user your trying to use FullAccess via Add-MailboxPermission (wait 15 minutes) then it should work okay.
