How do I select platform for conditional compilation in editor (Universal Apps)? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I've seen some references to a way to set conditional compilation flags in the editor when building Universal Apps, so that you get the correct lines of codes grayed out and the correct intellisense context.

These references talk about a setting as sown in the image below.

In my Visual Studio, I do not have that field, and I have no idea where to go and get it.

I upgraded to VS 2013, Update 3 recently in hopes that it would show up, but it did not.

I don't know if this is the correct place to post this. But any help is appreciated.

    Best Regards,

    Tomas Hofmann

  • Yes, it is.

This happens when I create a blank UinversalApp. The App.xaml.cs for example doesn't have it.

I only get the other two options.

  • Has been a while...

Is this something that is supposed to happen automatically, so there's really no "setting" for it?
