    i get this error every time i open my visual studio, pls can anyone tell me what the problem is?

    "An exception has been encountered, this maybe caused by an extension.

    You can get more information by examining the file 'C:\Users\israel asha\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\VisualStudio\12.0\ActivityLog.xml'."

    You can get more information by examining the file 'C:\Users\israel asha\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\VisualStudio\12.0\ActivityLog.xml'."

    It's recommended to check all of the updates available for Visual Studio.

    Make sure all available updates are applied. To check if there are any updates available open Tools > Extensions and Updates.  In the "Extensions and Updates" dialog, expand the "Updates" node in the left pane.

    Or you can also repair your VS, and check whether it helps.

    Seems like every major stage at opening a project is documented in the Activity log.xml, so I wouldn't know what to look for
