Access runtime 2010 on Windows Server 2016 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Can we use Access runtime on windows server 2016 VMs?

I have update from MS that we can't and shouldn't since the product will be out support from October 2020. What are the chances if vendor wants to include it in the software. Shall we allow the software to install in server 2016 VMs?

This is required to open project file .ade to open.

    Thanks in advance

    Firoz

  • The chances of what?

"Out of support" does not mean "Unable to install".
That said, this vendor seems to be particularly slow adapting to "new" realities: ADP was last available in A2010.
