How to temporary disable Charm bar, App switch list on windows 8.1 ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I'm woking on a metro style game on windows 8.1.

I want to make user can use the mouse control same as game Dota : if player move the mouse to 4 edges of the screen, game will move the camera follow the cursor's direction. So I want to temporary disable all hot corners and edges( the Charm Bar - bottom right corner, Windows icon - bottom left corner , app switch list - left edge, and top left corner , and the app title -top edge ) while game in action phase, and enable it if game in menu state.

Could you tell me how to do that ?

    Thanks so much!

  • That is not possible. the end user can always call those flyouts as charms and switch apps.
