  • Hi Adevi,

You may want to check out SQL Profiler against an Analysis Services server to see what is actually running when you query the cube.  Or turn on query logging in the server.

You cannot toggle between the two views in SSMS.  You either start a new query (MDX/DMX/XMLA) or browse the cube.

Some other possibilities to see MDX queries.

Reporting Services would allow you to toggle between views.
Excel macros would allow you to see Pivot Table MDX.
Proclarity has a show MDX option.
