Sort glyph position in column header

Question

Is there a way of displaying the sort glyph on a DataGridView column header to the left of the text, instead of the right? Preferably without having to override the cell paint method, but if so so be it.

Example code would be most welcome!

I had found no built-in way to position the glyph using the standard DataGridView control.

Yes, there's no built-in way, we need to draw the sort icon ourselves. You can refer to this thread which contains the code to draw the icon. But the icon is not well drawn. However, indeed you can get clues where and how to draw sort icon ourselves.
