URL parameters to hide toolbar but show parameters RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a hyperlink to a report where I want to show the parameters bar, but not the toolbar. In the URL to this report, I have added this:

    &rc:Toolbar=False&rc:Parameters=True

This also hides the parameters bar though...

How can I hide the toolbar but not the parameters?

    Thanks!

  • Hi Erik,

What I understand is that this is not possible in SSRS. As mentioned in the URL, the parameters are with in the toolbar area and hence you cannot hide toolbars and show only parameters.

The reverse is possible i.e. hide the paramters and show the tool bars.

  • When you set Toolbar option as FALSE, all the other options are ignore. Pls refer the below URL

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms152835.aspx

My understanding is that Parameter is not in separate area. It is withing tool bar.

  • If I set the toolbar to "False", the parameters disappear as well. That is not what I would like, I would like the parameters to stay.

  • Hi,

This feature of Showing parameters but hiding toolbar in URL command is not supported. The most common parameters are listed in http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms152835.aspx .You can submit this request to Microsoft by https://connect.microsoft.com.

    Thanks,

    Challen Foo
